This is a scratchboard that I started in college. I should probably go ahead and finish it, but it's based on a National Geographic photo, so I can't sell it. Might look good on the wall, though. The original is approx. 8.5x11"
There is a tribe in the Papua New Guinea area that basically eats their border war victims (or used to), excarnating them [link] and tying their mouths shut so that their mute victims can no longer threaten, alive or dead.
I may add more to this later. As I recall one of the American Rockefeller family disappeared in the same region as this skull came from, and I've forgotten what the significance of the feathers, cowries and beans is.

EDIT: The Rockefeller was Michael, the youngest son of Vice President Nelson Rockefeller (then governor of New York state), a twenty-three year old anthropologist when he disappeared in 1961 while studying the Asmat tribe in New Guinea. [link]
